We Do NOT Give our Dogs Baths in the Toilet...

Yeah... That one pretty much sums it up, too. Tonight when we got home from an activity, I was changing my clothes and heard Ike barking a little and Ivy yelling "No" to Ike. I figured Ike was trying to steal one of Ivy's toys. He likes to do that. Nope, I was wrong. I go into the bathroom to find Ivy lifting Ike into the toilet either to help him get a drink or to get a bath. Who knows with Ivy. I thought I was on my toes just with Ivy... Now I have both of them to worry about getting into mischief. Everyone wish me luck.

Tuckered Out!

The girls had so much fun over at Grandma's today, that they couldn't keep their eyes open on the way home. It was a quiet ride, that's for sure!

Friends...

"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive, and its only by this meeting that a new world is born"- Anais Nin

I read this quote today and thought that it was pretty fitting for my friends. I have one friend that introduced me to a fish story about perserverance and hard work and it opened a new world for me. Another friend tells it to me straight and she makes sure I stay on track. Another friend is a great example of love and kindness to everyone. Another friend is an EXCELLENT example of a good mother and I strive to be more like her. We all have friends out there that mean different things to us. I just want to thank all my friends out there for being in my life... still.

A girl and her dog...

Yeah, I came into the kitchen to see this and Ivy saying...

"Ike, that's mee mee (yummy) huh?" Both were eating sour cream.

Bella's Recipe...

Bella has been helping me cook a lot in the kitchen lately, so its only normal that she would want come up with a recipe on her own and want to make it. I had to smile, because this "soup" is almost exactly how my Grandpa use to make "soup." He would take whatever was in the fridge and throw it into a soup... We called it the Perpetual Stew. So, here is Bella's recipe for her soup:

Butter, milk, olives, turkey, oranges, black beans, shredded cheese, chicken, bread crumbs, and lettus. I think that just about does it.

Something wonderful we were not expecting...

So, I was walking home from a friends house today and a car pulled up next to me and asked me to stop for a minute. I thought they needed directions somewhere, but they asked if I wanted to buy a dog. I told them that I would love to, but we just couldn't afford a dog right now. So they asked if I just wanted him for free. I looked at this cute beagle (in my mind I thought this was awesome) but said I needed to ask Brad. Both of us were hooked, of course, so we got ourselves a dog. Bella was over at a friend's house and Ivy was at home, so Ivy and Brad gave him a bath and Bella and I went to the store to get him some dog food, leash, ect. (Bella didn't know we had a dog yet) We got to the dog food and she immediately said No NO NO NO!!!

So...to sum it up, Ivy LOVES the dog and Bella does not, but she will hopefully get use to him. Oh...and we named him IKE. Our little house is complete, I think. We have our Isabella, Ivy, and our boy, Ike.

My Crazy Project...

Ok... anyone who has seen the area by my back door knows that it is a mess. We have this yucky paneling and shelves and yuck... So, I decided to wallpaper it with stuff thats kind of like paper machet. So... the pics don't show too well, but hopefully you'll like the finished product.

Entertaining the Girls

We are remodeling our house and so we have had to find new ways to entertain the girls while Brad and I work. We set up a little tent for the girls to play under... The newness of it wore off quickly, but they had fun while it lasted.

Can you find Ivy??

Sledding!

Thanks to some great Christmas gifts from some great people, we were all able to go sledding on Saturday. Ivy went down one time and that was it for her. She didn't like it so much, but loved to sit on the sidelines and watch Bella and Daddy go down. Bella absolutely loved it and we all had so much fun.

We Do NOT Give our Dolls a Bath in the Toilet!

Do I need to say more after that title? Ivy sure loves to try new things.
